Common questions

What is free, and what is included in Mynotes Pro?

Webpage highlighting, comments on highlights, page notes, webpage tags, and searching your local library are free. Mynotes Pro adds personal notes with titles and tags, file attachments, saving images from webpages, saving and annotating PDFs, and optional private Google Drive sync. See the Free and Pro comparison for details.

How do I start the 14-day Pro trial?

Open All Notes → Settings → Mynotes Pro, select “Start 14-day trial,” and follow ExtensionPay’s email instructions to activate your trial. Installing Mynotes does not automatically start the trial. The trial unlocks all Pro features for 14 days.

What happens when the Pro trial ends?

Your saved notes, images, attachments, and PDF annotations remain available, and you can continue using the free webpage features. Without upgrading, you cannot create new personal notes, add attachments, collect webpage images, save new PDFs, create new PDF highlights or annotations, or sync through Google Drive. You can unlock these features again with a Pro lifetime license; no automatic charge or subscription starts when the trial ends.

Where are my notes stored?

Mynotes stores your library locally in Chrome. Images and attached files are kept in the browser’s local database. With Mynotes Pro or an active Pro trial, you can optionally connect Google Drive to sync your library through its private app-data folder.

How do I use my notes on another computer?

Google Drive sync requires Mynotes Pro or an active Pro trial. Install the same published version of Mynotes in Chrome on your other computer. If you purchased Pro, open All Notes → Settings → Mynotes Pro, select “Restore purchase,” and sign in through ExtensionPay using the email address you purchased with. Then connect the same Google account in Mynotes settings and run a sync. This works with Chrome on Mac, Linux, and Windows.

Restoring a purchase unlocks Pro; it does not transfer your library. Connecting Google Drive and syncing are separate, optional steps.

How do I save an image from a webpage?

With Mynotes Pro or an active Pro trial, right-click the image and choose “Save image to Mynotes.” The saved image appears in the notes library with the webpage it came from.

How do I remove a saved page or note?

Open All Notes, use the delete control for the note or webpage group, and confirm the prompt. Deleting a webpage group removes its saved highlights, annotations, collected images, tags, and related attachments.

Can I get a refund for a purchase?

Mynotes Pro has a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate its features before you pay. After a US$9.99 Pro lifetime-license purchase, all sales are final except for duplicate or erroneous charges, or a material technical fault we cannot resolve. Send an eligible request within 7 calendar days and include your purchase email and payment reference. We always honor rights that cannot be excluded by applicable law. See the full refund policy.

Is Mynotes a subscription?

No. Mynotes includes free webpage highlighting and note-taking features. Mynotes Pro costs US$9.99 as a one-time lifetime-license purchase. There is no recurring charge or automatic renewal.
